Changes to the Departmental Admin Center
We recently rolled out some changes:
-
We replaced the links on the search page with buttons that are more visible.
-
On the Additional Info tab, you will now see a column labeled “Leave of Absence” that indicates students who are currently on leave.
-
When you click the Release link to release an advising hold, you will be asked to confirm that you want to release the hold.
-
We replaced the radio buttons that were used to view the roster with photos with a button labeled “View Photo Roster.” When viewing the photos, the button will read “View Roster.”
Reviewing Fall Grades
Need to review your students’ grades for Fall 2021 (or any other term)?
When viewing the student roster, click the View Grades drop down at the top of the page and select a term. Note that the results may take a minute or two to load if you have a long list of students. Click View Roster at the top of the results or Return to Student List at the bottom of the results when you are finished.
Fall Degree Conferral
The university awards Fall degrees on January 14, 2022. Before this date, you can review your degree candidates in one of these ways:
- In the DAC by clicking the Exp Grad Term column. Expected grad terms are sorted alphabetically, not chronologically, so look for Fall 2021 in this column. The Grad Status column will let you know if they applied to graduate in this term.
- In the Reporting Center in SIS by navigating to your Staff Home page, then >Reporting Center >Admin Center Reports >Reports >CW_DEG_CAND.
- In the University Data Portal by navigating to CWRU Analytics >Explore >SIS - Student Records >Degree/Certificate Candidates.
On or after January 14, most of you will no longer see your graduates in the DAC or through Student Services Center in SIS, but you can still view them in one of these ways:
- In the Reporting Center in SIS by navigating to your Staff Home page, then >Reporting Center >Admin Center Reports >Reports >CW_AWARD_DEG.
- In the University Data Portal by navigating to CWRU Analytics >Explore >SIS - Student Records >Awarded Degrees/Certificates.
Finding Information for Students who have Graduated
Although your graduates are no longer available to you in SIS after they graduate, you may still need to find their course information. You can find this in the University Data Portal by navigating to CWRU Analytics >Explore >SIS - Student Records >Student Information Report >Classes Taken.
