This is a list of all course attributes used at CWRU.  Not all course attributes are still in use. It is necessary to maintain this table in its entirety for purposes of maintaining historical records.

Avail for Senior Citizen Audit Case Western Reserve University's Course Audit Program for Senior Citizens (CAPSC) allows senior citizens (age 65 and older) to take on-campus courses at a reduced tuition rate. For more information: Last used Summer 2021.
ITN A subset of classes offered through the Case School of Engineering’s Distance Learning program. Last used Summer 2021.
North Star In the fall of 2020, CWRU engaged in an exercise to help students re-connect with each other, with faculty and staff, and with businesses and residents of our neighboring community. Given the public health crises of a viral pandemic and structural racism, these courses and experiences focused exclusively on the locale and assets of University Circle and Cleveland, as well as the related challenges and problems unique to our city and region.
STSE Science of Team Science and Education. Interdisciplinary or interprofessional courses that include teamwork skills training and authentic team projects
Semester Spotlight Classes can be coded with this attribute as a way for departments to highlight class offerings.
Service Learning Service learning integrates a meaningful community service project, formal classroom instruction, and reflection to enrich the learning experience, teach civic responsibility and strengthen communities. This project-based, experiential method has learning and community action goals; is designed via collaboration between community partners, faculty and students; and requires that students apply course content to the community-based projects and activities.
Study Abroad Case Western Reserve offers education abroad opportunities ranging from one week to one year. For more information:

Web Classes offered in an online format.
XR Enabled Classes that integrate augmented reality, virtual reality or mixed reality to enhance students’ grasp of subject matter, using hardware such as Microsoft HoloLens.
