Dear Colleagues and Friends of the Schubert Center:

Over the last twenty years I have had the great privilege of directing and co-directing the Schubert Center for Child Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. I have had the opportunity to work closely with extraordinary colleagues, community members and supporters committed to the well-being of children, their families, and their communities. We have worked together to bridge research, policy, and the education of our students. It is now time for a transition as I move back to teaching and research in the Department of Anthropology, and to serving in an advisory capacity at the Schubert Center.

Together with all of you, the Schubert Center has accomplished many things over these years, and is in excellent health and excellent hands to continue and to expand and enhance its work. Anastasia Dimitropoulos, Associate Professor of Psychological Sciences and currently the Research Director at the Schubert Center will assume the directorship of the Schubert Center beginning October 1st, 2019.  Gabriella Celeste will continue to provide her expertise and leadership as the Schubert Center Policy Director. Samantha Hill, our Assistant Director, will continue to guide the Schubert Center in its many activities. To this we add nearly 100 CWRU Schubert Center Faculty Associates, many community partners, and generous supporters.

I write this message both to let you know of these changes at the Schubert Center and to express my deepest appreciation for the privilege of working with all of you.

Warm Regards,
Jill
