During the Spring of 2023, Jenna Purslow participated in the Mann Child Policy Externship Program. The program offers students the unique opportunity to collaborate directly with professionals involved in designing and implementing policies that significantly impact the lives of children and families. Jenna gained firsthand experience shadowing attorneys, assisting social workers, and researching Ohio's bindover laws while contributing to data collection on juvenile transfer rates in Cuyahoga County, the highest in the state.
