Programs and Events

Cooperative Success

students looking like they are listening to a speaker

By hosting annual programs and special events, members of Case Western Reserve University's Social Justice Institute motivate others and become inspired themselves

 Our events:

  • Allow experts and novices alike to come together to discuss ideas and experiences;
  • Allow the university community to learn from each other and from outside experts;
  • Prompt spontaneous conversations and organic partnerships; and
  • Lead to new understandings and insight.

Feel free to browse the media page, which chronicles some of our previous efforts, as well as our past events to get an idea of the ground that our institute has covered. For a look at some of the things that we are doing in the future, give our upcoming events page a look.

Also, be sure to keep an eye out for updates to the podcast Regionally Speaking, brought to the people by the Social Justice Institute's very own Dr. Gladys Haddad. Topics of the program focus on the discussion of important issues in the city of Cleveland through an open dialog with community experts and leaders from around the city.
