The Nourishing Power Networking Events are part of the Nourishing Neighborhoods, Empowering Communities study conducted by Case Western Reserve University in partnership with Neighborhood Connections and The FARE Project.

The goal of the Nourishing Power Networking Events is to build relationships and mobilize the capabilities of food systems leaders and allies. These events will showcase innovations emerging from Fellows, Advisory Council members, and Fund grantees. The events also aim to:

  • Increase knowledge and skills needed to successfully develop, implement, evaluate, and sustain community-driven food systems change.

  • Amplify narratives of community-driven food systems change led by community leaders.

  • Build community among food systems leaders and allies to foster a culture of nutrition equity among individuals, organizations, and the community.

These awardees were selected through an application process which was reviewed by members of the Nourishing Power Network. In being awarded funds from Nourishing Power, all of the events will partner with Nourishing Power to spread the word of Nourish Power's mission, vision and work during their events.
