Weatherhead School of Management's nationally-ranked Executive MBA (EMBA) 's has added new experiential learning opportunities for its students. The program examines leadership strengths and gaps and develops a personalized learning plan for students to become the best leaders possible.

Earlier this year, a group of EMBA students spent the full day onsite at Vitamix. Executives at each organization discussed various facets of their business and engaged students in dialogues on leadership.

Vitamix’s director of communications Scott Tennant said the day-long immersion was a mutually beneficial engagement. “We were able to glean a number of insights and unique perspectives around our digital strategy that we are already implementing, and from which we expect very positive results.”

Current first-year EMBA student Emily Sword, MTD’s director of brand strategy and planning, said the applied learning and impact of the session was especially meaningful.

“Working directly with company leaders to address a critical issue they are facing takes the real-world aspect of the EMBA program to another level,” she said. “It’s interesting to see how issues and trends are affecting companies other than your own and also rewarding to think the work we did may help them determine their best path forward.”

Join us at our upcoming EMBA Class Visits on March 5, March 6, April 9 and April 10.
