The Academy of Management selected a symposium organized by Weatherhead School of Management faculty Melvin Smith, PhD and Ellen Van Oosten, PhD, as “Best Symposium” in the Management Education and Development Division.

Smith and Van Oosten presented the 90-minute symposium, titled “Desired Outcomes in Coaching: Coaching for ‘Sticky’ Intentional Change”, at the Academy of Management Conference that took place in Boston from August 9-14.

  • Scott Taylor - Coaching to Behavior Change and the Real Self (Scott Taylor, Babson College)
  • Qualitative Accounts of Executive Coaching Outcomes (Angela Passarelli, College of Charleston)
