Weatherhead Introduces New Hybrid Part-time MBA Program for Incoming Cohorts

Incoming first-year, part-time MBA students at Weatherhead School of Management will be a part of the school's first ever hybrid program.

With classes one evening per week, the program allows students to take at least five core courses online. This gives them the flexibility to elect the traditional, on-campus format throughout the program, or the option to choose a combination of online and on-campus courses. All online courses will have significant synchronous content, allowing for live interaction with the faculty and fellow students.

“Adding the flexibility of a hybrid track to our part-time MBA program opens the door to busy, working professionals who may find it challenging to be on campus every week,” said Anurag Gupta, vice dean of the Weatherhead School of Management. “This semester has proved that our faculty, staff, students and technology are very capable of providing a high-quality education to students remotely, and we are excited to move forward in this direction.”

As the highest ranked part-time MBA degree program in Northeast Ohio and the #19 ranked part-time MBA in the United States, Weatherhead’s part-time MBA program is a three-year, 48-credit-hour, cohort-based program. It offers the same challenging business concepts as the full-time MBA program's curriculum, including a new elective course in AI, Blockchain and Machine Learning.

Students applying for the part-time MBA program this fall will not be required to submit their GRE or GMAT scores.

The deadline to apply for the summer semester is May 15 and for the fall semester is July 15.
