ETA Club

Attendees and mentors converse during a networking reception in a bright, modern room with large windows.

With 150+ students, the ETA Club is the largest and one of the fastest-growing clubs at Case Western Reserve University. It is centered in the Weatherhead School of Management and is open to all Case Western Reserve University students and alumni interested in exploring business ownership through acquisition.

The club is student-led and advised by ETA faculty and Entrepreneurs in Residence, experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and advisors, who provide mentorship and real-world insights.

The ETA Club offers:

Attendees converse and mingle near a refreshment table during a networking reception at a university event.
  • Leadership opportunities for students to organize events, mentor peers, and shape the direction of the club.
  • Direct exposure to the ETA practitioner community through networking, guest speakers, and mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and advisors.
  • Hands-on practicum experiences, including real-world projects and participation in ETA-focused events.
  • Guidance and support for evaluating ETA as a career path and developing a personalized acquisition strategy.
  • Access to the broader ETA ecosystem, including the Promise Partners ETA Accelerator, for ongoing learning and connection before and after graduation.

ETA Club Pitch Competition

A group of students and presenters stand on a stage holding a large, $1,000 second-place prize check awarded to the "ETA Pitch Team" at a Case Western Reserve University event.

The Annual ETA Pitch Competition is a hallmark event and open to currently enrolled students. It is held each Fall and culminates in finalist presentations at the Osborne ETA Symposium at the Tinkham Veale Center, where students compete for $ 3,500 in prize money.
