Transfers

Students may transfer up to twelve credit hours of appropriate prior course work from accredited institutions with prior written approval from the faculty director and the Weatherhead registrar. No course in which the student received a grade lower than a C will be accepted. A minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 (as defined by WSOM-CWRU) is also needed. The transfer of credit hours will be subject to an audit of the curriculum and faculty teaching these courses annually, to ensure that the transferred credits meet the academic requirements of the Master of Finance program. Courses completed more than five years prior to the start of these programs are not eligible for transfer credit. If a transfer credit request is approved, upon completion of the course, it is the student’s responsibility to provide the Weatherhead Registrar’s Office with an official transfer transcript. Courses cannot be transferred without an official transfer transcript. Quarter hours convert to semester hours with a conversion of 0.67 semester hours for every 1.0 quarter hours.
