A Living Legacy of Leadership Practice

The Weatherhead School has long been a laboratory for leadership and change management. After launching this program as a Master of Organization Development in 1975, we’ve evolved the MLOC to address developing challenges leaders face within organizations, sectors and communities.

We are among a small number of master’s programs that emphasize strengths-based, human-centered approaches to organizational development, with courses grounded in internationally recognized Weatherhead scholarship, including:

  • Appreciative inquiry
  • Emotionally intelligent leadership
  • Coaching with compassion
  • Inclusive leadership
  • Flourishing enterprises
  • Positive impact change interventions
  • Business as an Agent of World Benefit

Looking back, my degree represents a new holistic perspective on business in the world and how we need to think about global issues in the 21st century. It was an amazing education, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity and experience of the program.
