Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management Undergraduate & Integrated Study department is working toward greater equity for out-of-the-classroom education. Weatherhead undergraduate students can apply now to the WSOM UGIS student conference fund for up to $500 toward experiential education opportunities such as conferences, symposiums and other professional development opportunities.
Conference Fund Grant Request Process
To apply, complete the application. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis while funds are available. Please submit your application at least four weeks before you need funds disbursed.
Conference Fund Grant Criteria
Successful applications will emphasize opportunities for learning and leadership contributing to long term goals and success. They also should be consistent with the mission of the Weatherhead School of Management, which is to have an enduring impact on business and society through cutting-edge research and innovative teaching that prepares professionals for the marketplace of the future.
Eligibility
- Student must be an enrolled undergraduate student
- Student must have a declared Weatherhead major and/or minor – must be showing up as declared in SIS
- Students must be in good academic standing
- Students are eligible to receive a maximum of one grant award during a fiscal year
Eligible Expenses
Conference fund grants may cover the following expenses
- Conference registration
- Airfare to attend a conference
- Lodging while attending a conference
- Gas mileage to attend a conference
