The Office of the Provost reviews recommendations for appointments to endowed professorships and submits them to the trustees for approval. General qualifications for endowed professorships are described in the Faculty Handbook and additional guidelines specific to each professorship are described in the professorship's establishing resolution. Endowed professorship recommendations are submitted through Interfolio.
