The Office of the Provost reviews recommendations for appointments to endowed professorships and submits them to the trustees for approval. General qualifications for endowed professorships are described in the Faculty Handbook (Chapter 3, Part Two, VII) and additional guidelines specific to each professorship are described in the professorship's establishing resolution.
All recommendations are submitted by the college or school through Interfolio.
