Coaching

Coaching is a process where a trained coach works with an individual to help them articulate goals and develop an action plan to reach those goals. The partnership of coach and coachee identifies and addresses professional development opportunities and any risks or challenges associated with those opportunities, both internal and external. Coaching conversations provide a safe space where coachees learn more about themselves and how they can enhance their individual performances. The trained coach does not have all the answers, but is able to generate questions that will unlock the coachee’s inner potential.

The format for coaching is one-hour confidential sessions. Coaching engagements might last one or two sessions for a specific situational concern or multiple sessions that result in a longer-term plan. Coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy, if needed.
