My research focuses on addressing emerging engineering and societal issues associated with civil infrastructure system. The activities are pursued with a strong interdisciplinary perspective that integrate engineering principles with the socioeconomic context. The dynamic research program aims to advance the state of art and practice with the design and operation of infrastructure system at multiple scales. Example topics of my research activities include:
