Work-Study Assistants
Students who qualify financially as work-study assistants receive an hourly wage in return for a variety of clerical and instruction-related services. Payments to work-study assistants do not include tuition remissions.
Research Assistants
Research Assistant positions on funded research projects are available on an intermittent basis. Such employment opportunities for research assistants fluctuate unpredictably from semester to semester. These types of positions are available not only in our department, but also across the entire university. See the Human Resources page for job postings.
Other Sources
Students are also encouraged to seek funding from sources other than CWRU. Most universities and colleges maintain files on granting agencies and foundations. CWRU's School of Graduate Studies has listings here. Applicants may find it to their advantage to consult the financial aid offices of the institutions in which they are currently enrolled to learn about fellowships and loan support for their intended graduate studies. FinAid, the Financial Aid Information Page provides a free, comprehensive, independent, and objective guide to student financial aid.
