Case Western Reserve University has an official course time grid and an official lab time grid. The purpose of these grids is to minimize conflicts between different course offerings, thereby maximizing the probability that students can schedule their desired courses. They also allow efficient use of our classroom resources.
Departments and programs will be expected to follow the new course and lab time slot grids. Any deviations will be reviewed and adjudicated by the University Registrar's Office, whose decision may be appealed to the Provost. In the event that more than one party wants the same classroom space at the same time, the current guidelines for assigning classroom space will be followed.
