Official Transcript

The University will be closed from Monday, December 23, 2024, to Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Normal business operations will resume on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

However, transcript orders can be placed using our online portal. Please note that if you are an undergraduate student, a current law student, or a pending graduate for January 2025, your transcript order will not be processed as your academic record is in review for end-of-semester processing.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Case Western Reserve University partners with a third-party servicer, Parchment, to provide official transcripts. Ordering your official transcript through Parchment is easy. You have options to either send your transcript electronically, have a paper copy mailed, or have a paper copy available for pick up in the University Registrar's Office.

Doctor of Medicine students or graduates: please review the information on the School of Medicine's website regarding transcript orders, or contact the School of Medicine Registrar's Office at 216.368.6137 prior to placing an order.

Purpose of a Transcript

The purpose of a transcript is to objectively display the academic record of course work and semesters attended at the university. It is the policy of Case Western Reserve University to include all academic information from all levels—undergraduate, graduate, and professional—on all transcripts and will not selectively distribute records from particular schools within the university.

Unofficial Transcripts

The above information pertains to official transcripts. For an unofficial transcript, see Viewing Unofficial Transcript or Unofficial vs. Official Transcript to learn the differences.
