The Schubert Center for Child Studies is excited to participate in GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to unleashing the power of generosity to bring positive change to communities worldwide. Your support directly impacts our programs, research, and policy work that enhance the well-being of children and families.
On GivingTuesday, you can choose to support the Schubert Center's work in various areas that reflect our commitment to children, students, and advocacy efforts:
Schubert Research Fellows Program:
Fund students with marginalized identities to gain hands-on research experience in child and adolescent studies while working alongside expert faculty and building professional skills. Our goal is to increase the number of minoritized students on the path to graduate school and professional careers in STEM and the social and behavioral sciences.
General Student Opportunities:
Additional funds will allow us to expand graduate and undergraduate students' experiential learning and research opportunities in child and youth-focused areas.
Policy Work:
Help drive impactful change for children and families through research-driven advocacy and strategic collaborations that address key areas such as child welfare and wellness, health and environment, educational equity, youth and police interaction, and juvenile justice reform.
Schubert Center Initiatives:
Support core programs such as providing seed funding for innovative research-community partnerships and convening events on critical in-the-moment topics related to children and youth.
