The Schubert Center for Child Studies of Case Western Reserve University has released a short animated video and toolkit designed to raise awareness of the Cleveland Division of Police’s new Interactions with Youth Policy, and to spark dialogue, understanding and action among adults and organizations working with children and teens in the Cleveland community.  The first-of-its-kind policy, adopted in 2021, recognizes that young people are developmentally less mature than adults and require age-appropriate protections and care. The video and toolkit, produced with the generous support of The George Gund Foundation, are both available online through the Youth and Policing page on our website.
