Freedheim Graduate Student Fellowship
Previously named the Brisky Fellowship, the Freedheim Graduate Student Fellowship is awarded annually to full-time graduate students in Psychology pursuing a PhD on a child-related topic that bridges research, practice, and policy. It is renamed in honor of Dr. Donald K. Freedheim, Professor Emeritus of Psychology and Founding Director of the Schubert Center for Child Studies. Here is a list of our past graduate fellows. Schubert Research and Presentation Grant (RAP Grant)
We are offering a new funding opportunity that emerged from our recent lunch and discussion event. The Schubert Center for Child Studies is now accepting applications for the Schubert Research and Presentation (RAP) Grant, which supports graduate students conducting research on child and youth mental health, development, and well-being. Here is a list of our past recipients.
Key details of the RAP Award:
- Award Amount: Up to $750
- Eligibility: Open to current graduate students
- Applicants must be the first and presenting author on their project
- Area of Focus: Research must be related to the mental health, development, and well-being of children
Reimbursement Items: Funds may be used to cover expenses such as:
- Conference registration fees
- Airfare
- Hotel costs (for the dates of the conference)
Reimbursement Process: We will reimburse receipts for the approved items
