Programming Ideas

Based on all of the amazing work the CWRU student organizations have done throughout the pandemic and through brainstorming sessions involving both students and staff, the Office of Student Activities & Leadership has compiled a list of possible virtual and winter programming ideas for students.

Virtual programming ideas:
  • Active/wellness related events (yoga, Zumba, cooking demonstrations)
  • Retreats and team building (hosting trained facilitators and leadership development with CWRU staff)
  • Mission-related guest speakers
  • Dance and voice practices
  • Game nights (Discord, Roll20, Steam, Kahoot, and skribbl.io)
  • Alumni based programming
  • Outside vendor programs (locally and nationally) 
  • Show and tell sessions
  • Scavenger hunts with common household objects
  • Scavenger hunt with GooseChase (now available through the Sparta Center - more information here)
  • Learn to ____ sessions with peers (knit, crochet, scrapbook, and various other crafty things your peers can teach you)
