Case Western Reserve University has reintroduced Enterprise Carshare for CWRU students and employees.
Two hybrid Toyota Prius sedans are available for member rental in addition to a hybrid Chrysler Pacifica minivan and a hybrid Toyota RAV4 SUV.
Program membership provides a practical transportation option to students and employees who may need a rental car for as little as a few hours as well as others who need multi-day rentals.
"The original CWRU Enterprise Carshare program was one of the most successful university programs in the entire country," according to Michael Kurutz of the university's Travel Services office. "The new program with an all-hybrid fleet will continue to save students the cost of car ownership while simultaneously promoting a smaller carbon footprint... a definite win-win."
The new program also features a hybrid minivan that can accommodate larger group trips in a single vehicle. It provides a flexible option for student clubs and organizations or when planning an out-of-town weekend trip with friends.
