Grants and Programming

CWRU faculty are eligible for UCITE-sponsored teaching and research grants: Nord grants and UCITE Course Innovation Grants (UCIGs). These funds are designed to help faculty amplify connections between research and classroom/laboratory teaching and learning.

Glennan Fellowships are available on an annual basis to faculty in tenure-track positions who have not yet attained tenure. These fellowships combine grant funding with discourse among pre-tenured faculty colleagues. Glennan funds assist faculty exploration of intersections between research and student learning.

UCITE also offers pedagogical training seminars to guide faculty engagement with Science of Teaching and Learning research in an effort to innovate teaching and learning practices. Opportunities include Learning Fellows and the Advancing Inclusion, Internationalization, Diversity, and Equity Teaching and Learning Collaborative (AIIDE TLC).
