Eligibility Qualifications
To be eligible for our program, you must demonstrate:
- The desire to study questions and design inquiries that have a positive impact on the world.
- The ability to articulate well-thought-out questions and hypotheses that align with ongoing research in the department.
- The desire and ability to acquire rigorous research and statistical knowledge and skills, including quantitative statistics skills applied during research.
- The desire to work with individuals, groups, organizations and/or communities who are interested in research-driven change.
- Demonstrated academic competence within the previous three years, as evidenced by grade transcripts and GRE/GMAT test scores test scores.
- English proficiency for all international students.
- Previous research experience, publications or scholarship, if any.
Application Deadlines
Applications are accepted during a window from Nov. 1 to Jan. 15 each year. Those who submit applications that show promise are invited to come to campus for personal interviews. If shortlisted, international applicants will be offered the opportunity to interview via Skype or Adobe Connect.
Please note that we admit approximately four students into this prestigious program each year.

Required Application Materials
The following materials will be required to complete your application:
- Transcripts: For initial application consideration, uploading "unofficial transcripts" is acceptable. Official transcripts will be required for admitted students
- Standardized test scores:
- GMAT (code WTJ-F1-10) or GRE (code 1105-02).
- A current (within 3 years) English proficiency exam score (TOEFL, IELTS or PTE-Academic [Pearson Test of English]) for all international students.
- Statement of objectives/research interest
- Current resume
- Three letters of recommendation
- Application fee: $50 (non-refundable)
- A written piece that shows your writing and thinking skills, such as a proposal, report, class paper, or research paper. Generally your written submission should be between five and ten pages long

Financing Your PhD in Organizational Behavior
We offer a full tuition waiver for four years of doctoral study along with a competitive monthly stipend for four years of doctoral study. Teaching assistantships, research assistantships with ongoing funded faculty projects, and course instruction are important program elements which enable you to gain necessary professional experience in high quality teaching and research.
