At Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, undergraduate students with a specific passion for business studies outside of established management majors of accounting, business management, finance or marketing may develop an individualized program of study within the BS in management degree (or as a secondary major), subject to advance approval by the Weatherhead Undergraduate Curriculum Committee.
The BS in management will develop your analytical skills for solving business problems. All students in this degree program build a strong foundation in business management by taking required courses in economics, accounting, statistics, communication, leadership, marketing, and operations research and supply chain management.
See the General Bulletin for Specific Course Requirements.
Customized Major Requirements
The major consists of an 18-credit-hour course sequence, which includes five courses around a common theme and an approved quantitative course requirement chosen from BAFI 361: Applied Financial Analytics, ECON 326: Econometrics, or MKMR 310: Marketing Analytics.
