Study abroad programs for students at Case Western Reserve University, vary in length, timing and structure.
- Long-term study abroad: You can spend an entire semester(s) at any one of CWRU’s 75+ study abroad partner institutions; register for a full course load (12+ credit hours) overseas and transfer courses back to CWRU.
- Short-term/faculty-led study abroad: You can spend your winter and spring breaks or spring (May Abroad), May, and summer I and II terms studying abroad with a three-credit-hour CWRU course (commonly called "short-term" or "faculty-led").
- Summer study abroad: This summer study abroad option involves directly enrolling in summer courses at any of CWRU’s partner institutions.
- Research/internship/practicum abroad: You can spend a summer or an entire semester participating in research or a practicum abroad. Work with the Post-Graduate Planning and Experiential Learning Office for help finding internship/practicum experiences.

The London School of Economics

Goethe University Frankfurt, positioned among the top international research universities, offers a wide variety of academic programs, a diverse group of research institutes, and a focus on interdisciplinary approaches to solving complex problems. Undergraduate business coursework is taught in German for students participating in semester-long and academic-year programs.
Universidad Carlos III (Spain)
Universidad Carlos III de Madrid has a wide variety of business courses, and its Department of Business Administration is consistently ranked #1 in Spain. Many classes are taught in English, so previous knowledge of Spanish is encouraged but not required.
