Nicholas Taylor, a graduating senior at Case Western Reserve University, has accepted a position with the Colorado Symphony as Manager of Orchestra Personnel, a role he will begin following Commencement this May.
Nick is earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music through the College of Arts and Sciences, along with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Organizational Leadership from the Weatherhead School of Management. His interdisciplinary studies and hands-on experience with prestigious performing arts organizations have prepared him to manage complex performance operations, support musicians, and enhance the audience engagement.
In his new role, Nick will oversee scheduling, payroll, contract management, and rehearsal operations for the orchestra—collaborating with performers and staff at Boettcher Concert Hall, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and venues across Denver and beyond.
"I’ve gained valuable skills in both music and organizational leadership, and I’m excited to bring them together in this next chapter,” Taylor said. “Thank you to everyone in the Joint Music Program who supported me along the way—I’m thrilled to contribute to the vibrant Denver arts scene."
The Department of Music congratulates Nicholas on this exciting opportunity and looks forward to following his continued success in the arts and cultural sector.
