Support the Concert Choir

Barcelona – Summer 2027

In the summer of 2027, members of the CWRU Concert Choir will travel to Barcelona, Spain for an international choral residency with MidAmerica Productions—a transformative artistic experience that will culminate in performance under the direction of John Rutter, one of the world’s most celebrated choral composers and conductors. MidAmerica has presented more than 1,500 concerts worldwide and has partnered with Sir John Rutter for over 135 performances, creating extraordinary opportunities for musicians at every level.

This residency offers students the rare opportunity to collaborate with singers from around the world, deepen their artistry through intensive rehearsals, and perform in one of Europe’s great cultural centers.
