The Core (Haydn Hall, Room 16) is a Macintosh computer classroom and creative lab dedicated to mind, sound, and vision. Open to CWRU students, faculty, staff, and the University Circle community, it provides a collaborative environment for exploring music, audio, video, and visual design.
The Core offers:
- Macintosh workstations with industry-standard music, audio, and design software
- Equipment checkout, including cameras and microphones
- Technology support, one-on-one tutorials, and group instruction
- Flexible workspace for collaborative projects, workshops, and demonstrations
We recommend bringing a USB flash drive or portable external hard drive to save and transfer your work between campus and personal computers.
Whether you're learning digital music notation, editing audio, creating multimedia projects, or exploring new technology, The Core provides a welcoming space to learn, create, and collaborate.
