Alicja Basinska is a Polish-born collaborative pianist, chamber musician, and orchestral keyboardist. A native of Oleśnica, Poland, she serves as a Lecturer and staff accompanist in the Department of Music at Case Western Reserve University.
Basinska has performed with The Cleveland Orchestra and Chicago Symphony Orchestra and has served as a collaborative pianist for numerous national and international competitions and music festivals. She previously served as a staff accompanist at Oberlin Conservatory of Music and currently works with The Cleveland Orchestra’s video production team as an assistant director and score reader.
Basinska earned her bachelor’s degree in piano performance from McGill University and her Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in collaborative piano from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
