Richman Family Endows Professorship in Popular Music Studies at CWRU

The Richman family has made a $2 million commitment to endow the Great Neck and Elissa Richman Professorship in Popular Music Studies in the Department of Music, strengthening teaching, scholarship, and programming in popular and contemporary music. This generous gift honors decades of musical passion and philanthropy by alumnus and trustee James S. “Great Neck” Richman (ADL ’72) and his family, and will support our outstanding faculty while expanding opportunities for our students.
