Natalie Jemiola (she/they) is the Operations Manager at the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, providing overall administrative management for the gender equity resource center and assisting the Executive Director with fundraising initiatives, as well as supervising our team of student workers.
Natalie has spent over fifteen years working in libraries and academic institutions, engaging in community outreach, information management, and program development and facilitation. Her passion for social justice and anti-racism work began during college culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies followed by two service years with AmeriCorps. A 2017-2018 American Library Association Spectrum Scholar, Natalie founded and co-chaired the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Team at Westlake Porter Public Library and is a former member of the Ohio Library Council’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
Natalie hails from Ohio, where they earned a BA from Cleveland State University and are currently completing an MLIS at Kent State University. When they’re not working, you can find them hiking, taking dance lessons, and spending time with family and friends.
