Avery Ware (He/They) is a higher education professional living in Cleveland, OH by way of Lorain, OH. The majority of their higher education career as been in student conduct and residence life. They have also served as an adjunct professor of American History and American Politics. Along with their professional career, Avery is very active in the Cleveland Queer community. Most notably, Avery is the founder and project director of a community arts, entertainment, and resource festival titled Mx. Juneteenth: A Black & Queer Liberation Celebration. Avery holds a MA is American Studies from Youngstown State University and a BA is Sociology from the University of Akron.
