Gender Inclusive Housing

Gender Inclusive Housing is a space for transgender students, non-binary students, gender non-conforming students, students exploring their gender identity, and their allies to live together in the residence halls.

To be clear, GIH is an option for all students, not just first years. First year students in GIH have a specific GIH RA. All other students do not, but the RA is aware of the GIH suites on said floors. Also, allies are not offered a space in GIH when they are first years.

The First Year GIH Floor Plan

You do not need a complete group to submit a group application for Gender Inclusive Housing. Housing will work with smaller groups of students to match roommates.
