Douglas W. Nock Endowment Scholarship

Case Western Reserve University awards the Douglas W. Nock Endowment Scholarship to outstanding undergraduate students or admitted high school graduates who have advanced the mission of the LGBT community at Case Western Reserve University or as a high school student in their community.

CWRU Pride LGBT Ohio Leadership Award

The purpose of the CWRU Pride LGBT Ohio Leadership Award is to provide recognition or enabling financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate or graduate students who are working to make impactful actions and advancement of the mission of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community at Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland community, or nationally through scholarship, research, or leadership activities.

National LGBT Scholarships

Point Foundation

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students seeking financial help for their coming undergraduate or graduate school education can take action by applying for a Point Foundation Scholarship. Point is the nation’s largest scholarship-granting organization for LGBTQ students of merit.

To serve this population, Point Foundation has invested more than $15 million in education and support of 243 scholars since 2001. Students who will be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs for the 2014-2015 academic year are eligible to apply for Point Foundation’s esteemed, multiyear scholarship. Point’s application process opens online in November.

Stop the Hate: Youth Speak Out! Essay Contest

The Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage invites campus community members to learn more about a unique scholarship opportunity for young people in grades 6-12 who live in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit counties.The Stop the Hate: Youth Speak Out! Essay Contest is offering a total of $100,000 in scholarship support for juniors and seniors to attend an Ohio university or college. They must complete a 500-word essay on discrimination or intolerance and how they intend to address it.
