Bathroom Inventory

Single stall, locking private bathrooms are helpful and important for many people, including trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming individuals. Please see below for a list of all-gender bathrooms around CWRU's campus.

All-Gender Bathrooms

An all-gender bathroom is a bathroom that has no specific gender assignment. It may be a single stall, a locking private stall or multi-stall bathroom. These bathrooms are available for use to all persons. 

Adelbert Hall

  • One, located on the 4th floor

Clark Hall

  • One, located on the 3rd floor

Guilford House

  • One, located on the 4th floor

Glaser House

  • One, located on the 1st floor

Haydn Hall

  • Two, located in the basement and on the 1st floor in the music library

Mather House

  • One, located in the basement

Mather Dance

  • One, located on the 1st floor

Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences

  • Three, single stall, located on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors of the west wing 
  • One, multi stall, located on the 3rd floor near the elevators

Mandel Center for Community Studies (11402 Bellflower)

  • Three, on the 2nd floor

Alumni Association

  • Seven, two on the three floors
  • One, located in the basement

Bellflower Hall

  • Two, one located on both the 1st and 2nd floors near the exit stairways

ITS Care Center

  • One, located on the 1st floor

Thwing Center

  • Two, located on the 1st floor of Thwing West

  • Four, two located on the 1st and 2nd floors

  • One, located one the 1st floor on the opposite side of the gendered bathrooms

Gender-Designated Bathrooms

A gender-designated bathroom is a bathroom that has a “male” or “female” specification.

The listed bathrooms are private, single stall bathrooms that can be locked, which is why they are included.

  • One, single stall, female/non-gendered bathroom in the basement level

  • Two, single stall, gendered bathrooms on 5th floor, room 515 and 516

  • One single stall, female gendered bathroom on 1st floor
