This workshop is 2 hours and goes in depth on the topics of transgender identity and allyship. Specifically, this presentation will cover
- The differences between sex, gender, and sexuality
- An in-depth discussion of what it means to be transgender and what transition can look like
- Common misconceptions about trans adults and trans children
- An overview of the issues faced by transgender people
- Practical ways to be a trans-inclusive ally
