This workshop is 2 hours and goes in depth on the topics of transgender identity and allyship. Specifically, this presentation will cover

  • The differences between sex, gender, and sexuality
  • An in-depth discussion of what it means to be transgender and what transition can look like
  • Common misconceptions about trans adults and trans children
  • An overview of the issues faced by transgender people
  • Practical ways to be a trans-inclusive ally
