1.1 CWRU Objective: Research. Significantly increase the amount of interdisciplinary research at CWRU.
1.1.1 In collaboration with the campus libraries and other campus partners, provide campus leadership for open knowledge, e.g., open access policy advocacy, creation, education, and publishing support; provision of open research expertise (digital science, open science, open data); open educational resources; and submission and ingesting of appropriate research materials in Digital Case.
1.1.2 Provide opportunities and infrastructure for student-led researchers to develop digital skills that prepare them to conduct research independently.
1.1.3 Provide the infrastructure and expertise for significant research content creation by faculty at CWRU, including data collection to demonstrate the impact of CWRU-generated publications.
1.1.4 Employ and report the result of meaningful metrics of the research impact of monographs and social media in the humanities and social sciences.
