This course explores one of the most profound and consequential beliefs: the Resurrection of Jesus. Through historical, biblical, and theological inquiry, we will examine key questions surrounding its meaning and significance. Was the resurrection of the Messiah anticipated in the Hebrew Bible? What would an empty tomb prove? Who were the 500 witnesses described in the New Testament, and what significance does their testimony hold? Explore differences and inconsistencies among the Gospel accounts and consider how Jewish understandings of resurrection compare with Christian beliefs. Join a thought-provoking exploration of faith, history, scripture, and religious thought.

Reading materials will be provided to students before the course.
