This course will address the major domestic and international challenges facing the American economy including those relating to inflation, recession and stagflation, the national debt, workforce demographics and employee shortages, extreme income and wealth disparities, climate change, housing shortages and the funding of programs like Social Security and Medicare. We’ll also examine the domestic and international economic agendas of the Trump administration and consider how they impact the country’s actual economic challenges.
