Join the representatives of the National Library of Israel, the home of the collective memory of Israel and the Jewish people worldwide, to explore the process of collecting and preserving stories, ideas, and historical and cultural treasures of Jews and Israel across generations. Through overviewing its collections and cultural and educational programs, the Library brings people together with the primary sources that have shaped Jewish history and identity. This program introduces participants to the Library’s remarkable collections and initiatives to discover rare treasures and explore both historical and current materials that illuminate the rich and evolving mosaic of Jewish life across time and space.
This program is in collaboration with the Jewish Education Center’s Scholar-in-Residence program, Akiva, and the Western Reserve Historical Society.
