In this inspiring lecture, we will explore our obligation in response to the ongoing ecological crisis that threatens the future of human life, with a focus on Judaism’s perspective. How can Jewish sources help us articulate a meaningful and moral response to environmental challenges? While Judaism promotes an ethic of care and responsibility for the world, how can this ethical framework inspire an environmental sensibility that supports strong and effective environmental policies?
The Earth is in Our Hands: Wisdom for a Sustainable Planet series is offered in partnership with the Mandel JCC and is made possible by The Annual Enid and Irving Kushner Lecture Series.
