Date
Wednesday August 05
Time
1:30 to 3 PM ET

Examine current developments across one of the world’s most volatile regions—from Iran to Turkey, Syria and Lebanon, Israel and Gaza, and Egypt— within the context of its historical and geographic complexities. Explore how issues of identity, aspiration, and external interference intersect with religion, politics, ethnicity, nationality, and economics. Rather than offering solutions, participants will deepen their understanding of why solutions remain so elusive and why trying to find a solution reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of the region’s complexity.
