Dr. Mark Chance Hosts Department of Defense Research Symposium: Advances in Biomedical Research

On August 18 and 19, 2022, Dr. Mark Chance, Charles W. and Iona A. Mathias Professor of Cancer Research, Director of the Center for Proteomics and Bioinformatics, together with Dr. Bob Kirsch, Dr. Robert Bonomo, and Dr. Larry Drummy, hosted a symposium on advances in biomedical research.

This symposium brought together Northeast Ohio’s leading biomedical researchers to illustrate and define the most significant future technology areas of Biomedical, Health and Human Performance Sciences for academic and United States government research. The symposium focused on Department of Defense (DOD) themed Biomedical Research involving Case Western Reserve University, its affiliate hospitals, and its DOD partners. Our mission was to reconnect and create conversations and collaborations in biomedical research.
