
Five courses, totaling 15 credit hours, will be required for this transcriptable certificate. Any student who is enrolled one of our MS programs can earn this certificate. Additionally, Physician Assistant Program, Nurse Practitioner Program or a currently practicing clinicians can earn this certificate.

This transcriptable certificate requires 15 credits of coursework, which can be counted toward an MS degree in nutrition, and a GPA of 3.0 for successful completion. No transfer courses or work experience may be used in lieu of credit courses.

This course uses a combination of recorded lectures, readings, and hands-on examples to guide practitioners through the steps of the evidence-based practice process. This is a fully asynchronous online course, appropriate for healthcare professionals of all disciplines, although you will notice that the examples and activities are focused on nutrition. This course has been approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for 15 CPEU Hours at level 1 or 2 (Activity number 156534, activity type: self study activity 740 Web-based).
