Protecting People, Property and Institutional Assets
Security Systems manages Case Western Reserve University’s electronic safety and security resources by designing, implementing, maintaining, programming and overseeing the following throughout campus:
- access control,
- security cameras,
- fire alarm systems and
- emergency telephones.
In addition, Security Systems follows the crime prevention through environmental design approach, in which the physical design of the community is altered in an effort to deter criminal activity, in order to protect the university’s people, property and institutional assets.
