The following incident took place off campus but CWRU PD would like to make the campus aware
Location of incident: In front of the Hope Lodge at 11432 Mayfield Road
Date of Incident: 10/14/16
Time of Incident: 1:45 pm
Incident description: Two students were walking on Mayfield Road when they were assaulted by a group of 5-6 juvenile females who attempted to take the victim's backpacks and did take one victim's cell phone. The suspects then fled on foot southbound on Mayfield Road.
Suspect description: 5-6 juvenile black females. 1 suspect described as heavyset, around 5'8, with shoulder length hair and a grey hooded sweatshirt. A second suspect was described as 5'5 with a grey shirt.
Additional information: 1 victim sustained minor injuries after tripping trying to avoid the suspects.
